How To Make a Roosh Monster , Part 4

So here's what all those spooky books did to me as a little goblin. These drawings are from the late 70s/ early 80s when I was between 5 and 8 years old.

Frankenstein's Monster, Jack O' Lanterns, a Ghost, Dracula, and lightning:

Clockwise from upper left: A witch, a scarecrow, a ghost with bloody fangs, a haunted house, a bat, Frankenstein's monster, Dracula, Jak's bloody gravestone, an upside-down bat, a skeleton, the Wolfman, and a headless ghost on fire (I'm actually wicked impressed with myself for even thinking that up):

Wolfman, Dracula, and victim:

My additions to Tony Tallarico's awesome "Monster Activity and Game Book":

Headless Ghost Lady ( I totally need to make this a glow-in-the-dark t-shirt):

Dracula:

the Wolfman:

the Frankenstein Monster:

Top Hat:

Jaws taking out a little boat:

Orca:

This is a comic strip I drew of a guy in a KISS T-shirt turning into a werewolf.(I thought Gene Simmons was scary and cool as a little kid. I wanted dragon boots and to be able to spit blood everywhere.)
Watch out for that full moon coming in the window, man!

Too late! Now you've got wolf ears:

You know you're in real trouble when you fall down and bats fly out of your floor:

At least your paw matches your jacket:

Wolfman in a KISS t-shirt!

Everyone needs a talking skull on their bookshelf...

and a 15-legged spider to watch you jump out your window.

And finally, this was drawn after I watched "King Kong vs. Godzilla" on "Creature Double Feature". The lesson here is if you jump Godzilla, you'll get hit by lightning. Devilicia thinks this picture pretty much sums up our relationship (and yes, I own a gorilla suit):

I even signed my work scary:

The vintage "Casper the Friendly Ghost" cartoons I watched as a kid inspired a lifelong dream of becoming a ghost after I kick the bucket. I didn't really care about Casper, I wanted to be one of the bad-ass ghosts that flew around all night scaring the crap out of people, making them yell, "a ga-ga-ga-ga-GHOST!!!" It is good to have ambitions.
